FRIDAY5THJANO7:AM:JUST WHO DID WENGER FIGHT WITH THEN IF IT WASN'T PARDEW?

Morning everyone seems Alan Pardew has been cleared for the same fight incident that Wenger was found guilty of, which means Wenger must have been fighting with himself, which in itself would be a match I'd love to see Don King sign up. The award for today's Mug's then goes to THE FA for somehow finding different punishments to two people involved in the same incident.

TODAY'S TRANSFER GOSSIP
THE SUN

Alan Curbishley has launched a £22million bid to keep West Ham in the Premiership by signing Luis Boa Morte and bidding for Matthew Upson and Shaun Wright-Phillips. That would work.
Javier Mascherano is signing for Liverpool - but doesn't know if he can play for them. Still he should be used to the bench.
Martin Jol has made a £4million bid for West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand.
Charlton have agreed a £2.7million fee for Arsenal hitman Anthony Stokes.
Steve Bruce is weighing up a surprise swoop for former Birmingham striker Stern John.
Collins John has rejected a £2million move to Watford after failing to agree personal terms.
Julian Gray is attracting interest from Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Six clubs are trying to keep Manuel Fernandes in the Premiership.
Sheffield United have beaten Reading to land Egypt international defender Ahmed Fathi.
Millwall want to re-sign joint-record scorer Neil Harris from Millwall. I know what that says it's a geninue story, someone has a worse sub editor than me.
Luton have rejected a £1million bid from Cardiff for Rowan Vine. Well would you go from one mid table championship side to another.
Watford are tracking the progress of Southend winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce.
DAILY MIRROR
Manchester United will make a move for Blackburn's David Bentley if they fail to land Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich. Cos one's a winger and one's a centre midfield that makes no sense there.
Liverpool have clinched an amazing loan deal for Javier Mascherano which sees them heading for a huge row with FIFA over the transfer.
Charlton have made a surprise move for veteran Portsmouth striker Andy Cole.
West Ham have landed Luis Boa Morte and have launched bids for Mark Viduka and Matthew Upson.
Aston Villa are to sign Manchester United right-back Phil Bardsley.
Sheffield United winger Paul Ifill has snubbed a move to Leeds to join Crystal Palace.
Real Madrid are considering a shock £7million bid for Everton defender Joleon Lescott. Shock they have any cash left at madrid after the way they are splashing it.
Arsenal youngster Arturo Lupoli is set for a return to Italy with five Serie A clubs said to be interested.
Sunderland are hoping to land Stephen Pearson for £400,000 from Celtic.
QPR have turned down £2million bids from Spurs and Manchester City for winger Lee Cook.
Birmimgham want Paul Dickov from Manchester City and could offer David Dunn in exchange.
Darren Currie has returned to Ipswich after his loan spell with Coventry.
DAILY STAR
West Ham have signed Luis Boa Morte and want Matthew Upson, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Mark Viduka and Lucas Neill.
Newcastle are increasingly confident of landing striker Peter Crouch from Liverpool and want to take Wes Brown on loan from Manchester United. Crocuh and Martins would be the most unsual partnership ever.
Rotherham starlets Lee Williamson and Will Hoskins are heading to the Premiership. Watford are keen on Hoskins while Reading and Manchester City want Williamson. Sure I read he was singing for Watford in the same paper the other day, fickle bunch these tabloids.
Franck Ribery says he has rejected a second approach from Arsenal but could join the club in the summer.
DAILY EXPRESS
Charlton have rejected a £6.5 million bid from Spurs for striker Darren Bent.
Fulham are considering trying to land Matthew Etherington from West Ham.
DAILY MAIL
Franz Beckenbauer has given Manchester United the go-ahead to sign Owen Hargreaves.
Chelsea are in the hunt for Valencia's towering defender Roberto Ayala.
Watford have completed a £1.2million deal for Rotherham's Lee Williamson and Will Hoskins. Someone want to tell the Star.
Tottenham have had a £7million offer for Darren Bent rejected by Charlton. What's o.5 million between friends.
Several Premiership clubs are on alert after the collapse of Nigeria striker Edu's proposed move to Lokomotiv Moscow. I know I am.

ODDS AND SODDS
MARKET MOVERS all taken from www.bettingzone.co.uk with additional comments.
BACK TO REALITY
Following Thursday night's Celebrity Big Brother show on Channel Four, Donny Tourette's odds have been slashed to a best of 10/1 from 20/1 after the wannabe rock star took centre stage.
Tipped by the Betting Zone as an outsider to follow, Donny was shown jumping into the pool wearing all his clothes, playing with 79-year-old Ken Russell's hair and lying in Leo Sayer's bed naked.
His antics have sparked wild debate and punters have seen fit to back him for a shock win.
Meanwhile Cleo Rocos is the new 9/2 favourite after she took care of Donny during his drunken night while Leo and Ian Watkins are both 6/1 second favourites.

We talked about Leo yesterday but Donny might have outdone him with his entertainment value which is always important, as reported yesterday Jo's odds have slide while Cleo has come right in, the odds quoted are betfair's as bookies are slow to react to the market this morning.
CURRENT ODDS
Any other 8.2
Ian H Watkins 7.8
Leo Sayer 7.7
Cleo Rocos 5.8
Dirk Benedict 10
Jo OMeara 10
Donny Tourette 10.5
Shilpa Shetty 17.6
Ken Russell 19.1
Danielle Lloyd 16.2
Carole Malone 57

JUST THE TWO OF US
Mark Butcher & Sarah Brightman 2.27
Brendan Cole & Beverley Knight 3.14
Hannah Waterman & Marti Pellow 4.14
John Barden & Jocelyn Brown 11.9
Julia Bradbury & Tony Christie 19.1
Again were looking at betfair odds, this one is a really hard one to call Mark and Sarah are vocally the best, but this never a guarantee. Luke and Natasha were harshly out last night and Julia and ony harshly in the bottom three. There seems no consitency to the voting pattern and the odds reflect this, worth avoiding from a betting pov.
SOAPSTAR SUPERSTAR
The new Alan Fletcher 2.63
Antony Cotton 6
Hayley Tamaddon 9
Jane Danson 10
Verity Rushworth 13
Tupele Dorgu 15
Gemma Atkinson 17
Matt Wolfenden 17
Mark Furze 17
Leon Lopez 19
Elaine Lordan 41

The new ITV reality tv how starts tonight, I know it never rains but it pores, quite literally this January. The bookies now have Alan Fletcher at 2.63 favourite which seems fair considering he is an established singer, with a cult following already in this competition,he will certainly go far and punters should be advised his price may get worse so if you support him you may need to act quick. Possible competition could come from Jane Danson at 10.0, but hard to get too heavily involved without knowing what the quality is like.

RANGERS FIASCO-PUT YOUR HANDS UP FOR GLASGOW
It seems the bookies have a complex case on their hands with the quick moving Rangers decision to bring in Smith and McCoist, the to are expected to be confirmed within the next few days, though vagueness exists as to what role each will have and bookies are claming that they may only pay out on McCoist and not Smith.

One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider.
